Carrot Khichdi (6 months+)

Carrot Khichdi for Babies (6 months+)

Ingredients:

  • Moong Dal
  • Rice
  • ½ carrot
  • Hing
  • Ghee

Procedure:

  • Take moong dal and rice in the ratio of 1:4 and soak it for at least an hour.
  • Peel half a carrot and slice it into small pieces.
  • Add Hing and Ghee to a pressure cooker.
  • Add the soaked dal rice, carrot, and water.
  • Give 5-7 whistles.
  • Mash the Khichdi properly.
  • Carrot Khichdi is ready to serve.
  • Note:
    • Haldi and pepper can be added optionally.
    • Avoid salt till 1 year of age.
